Film screening and discussion with the director of "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan," February 6, 2010.

A film screening of the science fiction classic Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan at 2:30pm will be followed by a discussion with Nicholas Meyer, its acclaimed director, producer, and an Oscar-nominated screenwriter at 5:00pm. Both programs are free and open to the public and will be held in the Rosenwald Film Theater in the Vogelstein Center for Drama and Film. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meyer will share his insights on the film's production and history. Along with a question-and-answer session, he will explain how specific scenes in Star Trek II: The Wrath of the Kahn were constructed. Meyer is the director of The Day After and screenwriter of Elegy, The Human Stain, Star Trek VI: The Voyage Home, and The Seven-Percent.
