The Historic Bardavon Theatre
Vassar students are fortunate that one of the motion picture palaces of film history is in downtown Poughkeepsie. The Bardavon Theatre periodically shows restored 35mm prints of classic films in a unique setting that allows one to come closer to the experience of film-going in earlier decades.
